John Richard Sisley

John Richard Sisley, age 87 of Leggett, Texas, passed away November 28, 2012, in Leggett, Texas. John was born on April 20, 1925, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, to parents, Joseph Franklin and Frances Jane McCrae Sisley.
John is preceded in death by both of his parents, five brothers, and three sisters. He is survived by his wife, Paralene Sisley, of Leggett, Texas; daughter, Betty Jo Sisley, of Leggett, Texas; son, David Ray Sisley, of Leggett, Texas; step-son, David Harold Ferguson, of Leggett, Texas; step-son and wife, Jimmy Ferguson and Margie, of Central, Texas; step-son and wife, Raymond Ferguson and Lisa, of Lufkin, Texas; ten grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; brother and his wife, Robert Sisley and Gean, of Anchorage, Ohio; and sister, Patricia Holt of Cayuto, New York.
Funeral services for John Richard Sisley will be held Saturday, December 1, 2012, at 3:00 PM at Cochran Funeral Home in Livingston, Texas. Brother Dennis Hodge will be officiating. Interment will be held on Monday, December 10, 2012, at 11:30 AM, in Houston National Cemetery, in Houston, Texas.
Visitation will be held Friday, November 30, 2012, at 5:00 PM at Cochran Funeral Home in Livingston, Texas.
Military Honors will be done by VFW Honor Guard Post #8568.
