Graveside services for John Albert Snell, 80, of Stanton, Texas, will be held Wednesday, June 8, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. in the Holly Grove Cemetery in Segno, Texas with Bro. Harold Isaacs officiating. Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 7, 2016 in the Cochran Funeral Home in Livingston, Texas.

Mr. Snell was born June 22, 1935 in Flatwood, Texas to parents, William Hollis Snell and Grace Pearl (Strickland) Snell, and passed away on June 2, 2016 in Midland, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents; beloved wife, Cissy (Pauline) Snell; brothers, Truman Snell and Gayland Snell; and sister, Leola Fillyaw.

He is survived by his sons, William R. Snell and Melissa of Austin, Texas, and Michael L. Snell of San Antonio, Texas; daughter, Kathy L. Lingle and Billy of Midland, Texas; granddaughter, Sharla Oatis of Jasper, Texas; great-grandchildren, Jeremy, Amanda, and Destiney; sister, Doris Bennett of Eastland, Texas; sister-in-law, Ann Polak of Lake Charles, Louisiana; along with numerous other relatives and friends over several states.
