Obituary
A memorial service for John James Stephen Jr., 71, of Livingston will be held at 3:00 P.M., Saturday, February 14, 2015 at the Cochran Funeral Home in Livingston, Texas with Chaplin Roy Hall officiating. Military Honors will be provided by VFW Post #8568.
Mr. Stephen was born on September 25, 1943 in Niagara Falls, New York to parents, John James Stephen Sr. and Mildred (Kemp) Stephen, and passed away on February 11, 2015 in Lufkin, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents; sister, Margaret Stephen and grandchild, Kyle Savolt.
He is survived by his wife, Jan Stephen of Livingston, Texas; sons, John Stephen of San Jose, California and Mark Stephen of Beaumont, Texas; daughter, Theresa Irby and Marvin of Beaumont, Texas; grandchildren, Ashley James, Christopher Guilford, Ryan Irby, Jessica Savolt and Elizabeth Parker; great-grandchildren, Rylie Stephenson, Landon Williams and Mia James; brothers, James Stephen of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina and Jerald Stephen of Saratoga Springs, New York; sister, Judy Holbrook of Garner, Texas; along with other numerous family members and friends.
