Funeral services for Johnnie Juanita Tolar, 84, of Livingston, Texas, will be held Wednesday, December 2, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. in the Cochran Funeral Home in Livingston, Texas with Bro. Chuck McLaurin officiating. Interment will follow in the Carmona Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 1, 2020 in the Cochran Funeral Home in Livingston, Texas.

Mrs. Tolar was born August 10, 1936 in Hortense, Texas, to parents, Edward T. Jones and Eula Jane Grimes, and passed away November 27, 2020 in Livingston, Texas. She is preceded in death by her parents, Roy Lee and Eula Jane Grime; father, Edward T. Jones; husband, David Louis Simons; son, Mark Allen Simons; brothers, Gerald Grimes, Everette Jones, and Bobby Jones; and sisters, Edwina Matlock, Lola Allbrook, and Jennette Allbrook.

She is survived by her son, Johnny Simons and wife, Nancy; daughter, Pauline Costlow and Scott Napier; sons, Harold Simons and wife, Terri, Ed Simons, and Wayne Simons and wife, Tiney; daughter, Darlene Kerr and husband, Darrell; sisters, Peggy Allbrook and Geraldine King; and sister-in-law, Pat Grimes; along with numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
