Mr. Johnny "Big John" Morse, 76, of Onalaska, Texas was born April 5, 1943 in Baytown, Texas to parents, Richard Jackson Morse and Ola Mae (Collins) Morse, and passed away November 3, 2019 in Onalaska, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents; 1 sister, and 1 brother. During his life, Big John proudly served his country for 20 years in the United States Air Force and went on to retire as a Master Sargent. After retirement, his favorite pastime was competing in Barbeque cook-offs.

He is survived by his wife, Lil' Mo Morse; daughters, Lynda Starbuck, Lynn Harrison and husband, Ken, and Lisa Modisette; step-daughters, Shari Smith, and Laura Carter and husband, Chris; step-son, David Welsh and wife, Crissy; sister, Joan Morse; brother, Jimmy Morse; 11 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, friends and his many cats.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
