Obituary

Johnny Wayne Robbins born in Oildale, California, February 17, 1950 to the parents of Charles Wesley Robbins and Goldie Vergie Lee Farmer Robbins has passed at age 70 on May 27, 2020.

Johnny, called John by most who knew him, was a resident of Livingston, Texas for the past twenty-four years where he spent many hours on and viewing the lake from his favorite spot.

John was preceded in death by both his parents, and brothers, Marvin Jack Robbins, and Charles Wesley Robbins Jr.

He is survived by his wife, Alberta Robbins. Children, Lucinda Picou, Crystal Robbins, and Jilliann Carlson. Son-in-laws Trent Picou, and Bryan Carlson.  Step children, Johnathan Blanchard, and Joyce Smith.  Grandchildren: Matthew Picou, Alyce Picou, Kelsey Carlson, Trevor Carlson, Wyatt Robbins, Step-Grandchildren Aaron Phromson, Matthew Flores, Caleb Parker, Johnathan Dennis, Sabrina Dennis; , and siblings: Marion Thomas Robbins, Charlcie Edna Robbins, Patsy Jean Scott, Alfred Lee Robbins, and nineteen nephews and nieces.

John was a proud Army Veteran who served during Vietnam in Germany, and Thailand receiving decoration medals and badges of:

National Defense Service Medal, Parachute Badge, Vietnam Campaign Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Royal Thailand Army Forager, and Royal Thailand Army Parachute Badge.

Later John made a career in the Oil Field where he excelled as a Fishing Tool Operator/Supervisor land and sea traveling the world.

He was a loyal husband, father, uncle, and friend enjoying time with everyone. He taught many how to water ski, and play dominos. Later enjoying many motorcycle trips and leisure rides with Bert, his siblings, nephews, cousins and friends. He enjoyed many hours at the club laughing, teasing, playing darts, and taking home the championship prize at dominos. He was hardworking, compassionate and had a heart of gold, always willing to help others. Whether by helping someone with a fundraiser, with repairs, and taking care of the sick. He believed your word should be your word, and integrity was a must. And, family was most important to him.

His love will live on and he will be missed by all.
