A memorial service for Johnny Allen Thompson, 68, of Point Blank, Texas, will be held Sunday, December 11, 2022, at2:00 p.m., at the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Onalaska, Texas.

Johnny was born December 8, 1953 to parents, Roy Holland Thompson and Ruth (Walker) Thompson, and passed away December 5, 2022 in Point Blank, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Susan Yvonne Thompson; and granddaughter, Cassia Marie Thompson.

He is survived by his son, Johnny Allen Thompson Jr. and wife Susan of Bryan, Texas; daughter, Mary Compton Carn of Bryan, Texas; granddaughters Sabrina Thompson of Spokane, Washington, Tashana Carn of Houston, Texas, and Alaiya Carn of Bryan, Texas; grandsons, Terrence Carn of Houston, Texas and Matthew Zimmerman of Missouri; brothers, Tommy Thompson of Houston, Texas, and David Thompson and wife Telitha of Longview, Texas; and sister, Donna Sappington; along with numerous other loved ones and friends.
