Johnson Williams 76, of Big Sandy passed away Saturday May 10, 2008 in Lufkin. Funeral services will be Tuesday May 13, 2008 at 10:00AM in the First Texas Indian Baptist Church in Livingston, with Rev. Daniel Spadye officiating. Burial will follow in the Indian Baptist Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday May 12, 2008 at the First Texas Indian Baptist Church from 3:00pm until service time.

Mr. Williams was born June 6, 1931 in Elton, Louisiana to parents Baker and Gladys Sickey Williams.

He is preceded in death by his wife of 38 years Adele Ann Williams, sister Betty J. Thompson, brothers Rusty Langley, Lee Allen Langley, Herman Battise, Horace Williams.

Mr. Williams is survived by his wife Iris Fern Williams, sons Danny Williams, Jeffery Williams, and Dewane Williams, daughter Teresa McKinney, and sisters Anna Obe and Wanda Sylestine. He is also survived by his step children Ricky Sylestine, James ""Beaver"" Sylestine, Mark Alec, Carlos Alec, Jeffery Alec, Duane Alec, Damon Alec and Hilda Pittman. His 37 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren survive him as well.

Serving as pallbearers will be Carlos Alec, Koe Williams, Eagle Williams, Buc Johnson, Delvin Johnson, Simon Johnson, Brandon Williams, and Geoffrey McKinney. Honorary pallbearers will be Marvin Johnson, Larry Langley, Earnest Sickey, and Mitchell Alec.
