Funeral services for Jose Blanco, 86, of Livingston, Texas, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, September 7, 2019 in the Kingdom Hall in Livingston, Texas with Jeff Syrett officiating. Interment will follow in the Peebles Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. on Friday, September 6, 2019 in the Cochran Funeral Home in Livingston, Texas.

Mr. Blanco was born July 22, 1933 in San Juan, Puerto Rico to parents, Jose Blanco Velasquez and Anna Marie Arizmendi, and passed away August 30, 2019 in Livingston, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Luis Rafael; and sister, Emma Lugo.

He is survived by his wife, Lessie Irene Blanco of Livingston; daughter, Lessie Sarratt and husband, Gary of Pasadena; sons, Joe Edward Blanco of Livingston, and Luis Anthony Blanco and wife, Melinda of Livingston; daughter, Lydia Elizabeth Deer and husband, Vance of Spring; sister, Anna Hilda Chase of Dallas; grandchildren, Heather Martin, Brittanie Erwin, Christopher Sarratt and wife, Jessika, Andrew Hendrick and wife, Kim, Kayla Hendrick, and Jacob Hendrick; and 8 great-grandchildren; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
