Funeral services for Joseph "Happy" Earl Stark, 81, of Onalaska, Texas, will be held Saturday, March 17, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. in the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Onalaska, Texas with Bro. Harold Isaacs officiating. Interment will follow in the Magnolia Cemetery in Onalaska, Texas. Visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. until the service begins at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 17, 2018 in the Cochran Funeral Home in Onalaska, Texas.

Mr. Stark was born October 23, 1936 in Ganado, Texas to parents, Alvro Stark and Willie Estelle (Stoval) Stark, and passed away March 13, 2018 in Alvin, Texas. During his life, "Happy" loved to fish and do woodworking. He also loved to help everyone. He is preceded in death by his parents; and son, Larry Dewain Stark.

He is survived by his wife, Bernice Marie Stark of Onalaska, Texas; son, James Earl Stark and Donna of La Porte, Texas; grandson, Hunter Stark of La Porte, Texas; great-grandson, Aiden Stark of La Porte, Texas; and brother, William O'Daniel Stark of Edna, Texas; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
