Funeral services for Joseph "Smokin' Joe" Kirkpatrick, 65, of Livingston, Texas, will be held Friday, April 16, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. in the Livingston Church of Christ in Livingston, Texas with William Ehlig, Tony Taylor, and Hub Whitten officiating. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m., on Thursday, April 15, 2021 in the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas. A private graveside service will be held in the Forest Hill Cemetery in Livingston, Texas.

Mr. Kirkpatrick was born January 3, 1956 in Cleveland, Ohio to parents, Samuel Allison Kirkpatrick Jr. and Evelyn (Tullos) Kirkpatrick, and passed away April 11, 2021 in Livingston, Texas. He is preceded in death by his father, S.A. Kirkpatrick; and wife, Andrea Kirkpatrick.

He is survived by his daughters, Dee Andrea Valentine Cutler and husband, Phillip, Krissy Valentine Patrick and husband, Matt, Michelle Kirkpatrick and wife, Amy, Tiffany Kirkpatrick Sorensen and partner, Jeremy Clay, and Kelsey Jo Kirkpatrick and wife, Jordan; grandchildren, Samantha Patrick Hall and husband, Alex, Hayden Cutler, Garret Cutler, Chase Cutler, Wesley Sorensen, Emri Sorensen; first great-granddaughter on the way, Aubrey Scott Hall; mother, Evelyn Kirkpatirck; sisters, Andrea Redmon and husband, Keith, Joycelyn Torres and husband, J.R., and Kay Alleman and husband, Keith; and special cousins, Carline Swilley and Dewayne Kirkpatrick; along with numerous other relatives and a host of friends.
