Services for Joseph David Thomas, 82, of Onalaska, Texas will be held Saturday, October 14, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. at the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Onalaska, Texas and will be officiated by Pastor Daniel Day. Interment will follow at Magnolia Cemetery in Onalaska, Texas. Visitation will be held at the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel from 9:00-10:00 a.m., on the day of service.

Joseph was born September 1, 1941 in Columbus, Ohio and passed away October 8, 2023 in Conroe, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Woodrow Thomas and Myrtle Elizabeth (Smith) Thomas.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Thomas of Onalaska, Texas; sons, Joseph William Thomas and Ramone of Silsbee, Texas and Charles Randall Thomas of Huffman, Texas; daughter, Lucinda Theiss and husband Mike Theiss of Kenefick, Texas; sister, Janet Pierce of Prescott, Arizona; 8 grandchildren; and 12 great grandchildren; along with numerous other relatives and friends.

Pallbearers: Joe Thomas, Ryan Thomas, Ray Thomas, David Thomas, Jacob Thomas, and Chris Theiss.
