Funeral services for Joyce Chastang McLeod, 79, of Houston, Texas, will be held Sunday, June 1, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. in the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas with Rev. Harold Isaac officiating. Interment will follow in the Bold Springs Cemetery in Livingston, Texas. Visitation will be held Saturday, May 31, 2014 at 5:00 p.m. in the Cochran Funeral Home in Livingston, Texas.

Mrs. McLeod was born January 20, 1935 in the St. Tammany Parrish in Louisiana, to parents, Leroy Lyons Chastang and Edwina (Frierson) Chastang, and passed away May 29, 2014 in Houston, Texas. She was a homemaker and loved her family. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, John H. McLeod; son, Deane Bostick III; and brother, Roy Chastang.

She is survived by her daughters, Penny Morton of Onalaska, Wisconsin and Carey McLeod of Houston, Texas; sons, Anthony Bostick of Houston, Texas, John McLeod of Channelview, Texas, and Clinton McLeod of Crosby, Texas; sister, Donna Hotard of Timpson, Texas; grandchildren, Deane, Shawn, Robin, Justin, Daniel, Alexis, Elvis, Johaiden, Austin, and Clifford; great grandchildren, Hannah, Amiah, Grace, MaKayla, Trey, and Ethen; and numerous other relatives and friends.
