Obituary
Funeral services for Joyce "Kay" Melvin, 76, of Point Blank, Texas, will be held Tuesday, November 22, 2016 at 12:00 p.m. in the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas. Interment will follow in the Ebenezer Cemetery in Colmesneil, Texas. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. until service begins at noon on Tuesday, November 22, 2016 in the Cochran Funeral Home.
Mrs. Melvin was born September 21, 1940 in Houston, Texas to parents, Cletus Andrew Sanders and Esther Pearl (Brasher) Sanders and passed away November 19, 2016 in Shenandoah, Texas. She is preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by her husband, Joe Earl Melvin of Point Blank, Texas; daughter, Melody Kay Twilley and husband, Jeff of Houston, Texas; son, Joe Earl Melvin II of Point Blank, Texas; daughter, Laurie Suzanne Weston and husband, Tim of Austin, Texas; son, Richard Andrew Melvin and wife, Anna of Denton, Texas; grandchildren, Ryan Dittrich and wife, Michelle, Dustin Dittrich, David Twilley, Nicholas Weston, Abigail Weston, Jackson Weston, Clementine Melvin, and Conroe Melvin; great-grandchildren, Logan Dittrich and Emma Dittrich; sisters, Ann King and Sue Medford; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Cruse and Sharron Melvin; along with numerous nieces, nephews, loved ones and friends.
