The family requires that anyone wishing to attend the visitation and/or the service, must practice social distancing and wear a facial covering. Funeral services for Juan Torres, 68, of Livingston, Texas, will be held Saturday, December 19, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. in the St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Livingston, Texas with Father Tarsisius Puling, SVD officiating. Interment will follow in the Peebles Cemetery. Visitation will be held Friday, December 18, 2020, from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. in the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas; with a rosary service beginning at 6:00 p.m.

Mr. Torres was born March 8, 1952 in San Luis Potosi, Mexico to parents, Esiquio Torres Palomo and Martha Turrubiartes Torres, and passed away December 8, 2020 in Livingston, Texas. He is preceded in death by his father.

He is survived by his wife, Ernestina Torres of Livingston; mother of his children, Julia Garcia Torres of Livingston; his daughters, Maria Antonia Orozco of Shepherd, Oralia Torres of Livingston, Maria Santos Torres of Splendora, and Yurilia "Judy" Torres of Livingston; his sons, Juan Jose Torres of Livingston, Honorio Torres of Livingston, Eleazar Torres of Corrigan, and Homero Torres of Livingston; mother, Martha Turrubiartes of Livingston; sisters, Altagarcia Torres Salazar of Houston, Maria Gertrudis Torres Turrubiartes of Mexico, Maria Elena Moreno of Livingston, and Maria Irene Torres Turrubiartes of Mexico; and brothers, Raymundo Torres Turrubiartes of Mexico, Saul Torres Turrubiartes of Livingston, and Jose Santos Torres of Houston; along with numerous grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
