Funeral services for Juanita Doris Cook, 90, of Livingston, Texas, will be held Sunday, November 10, 2024, at 1:00 p.m., at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Livingston, Texas with Rev. Alex Garber officiating. Interment will be held at the Camp Ruby Cemetery in Livingston, Texas.

Mrs. Cook was born July 7, 1934 in Wellsville, New York to parents, Eldred Wood and Mary (McCaig) Wood and passed away October 30, 2024 in Houston, Texas. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Merle Jay Cook; sons, Merle John Cook and Mark Andrew Cook; brothers, Erwin C. Wood and Robert A. Wood; sister-in-laws Elizabeth Ann Wood and Audrey Louise Wood; and granddaughters, Delana Denise Cottrell and Mary Katherine Pitsky.

She is survived by daughter Margaret Ann West of Livingston, Texas, daughter Delana Marie Cottrell and partner Lisa Martinez of Livingston, Texas; daughter and son-in-law Cynthia May and Larry Burnett of Livingston, Texas; son and daughter-in-law Robert Mathew and Robbie Cook of Moscow, Texas; and son, Kevin Landros Cook and Sissy Hillin of Livingston, Texas; and brother, Eldred John Wood.  She is also survived by grandchildren (26), great grandchildren (53) and great-great grandchildren (5).  They are:  Christina Ramirez, Ashton and Rebeckah Stevenson and Paisley and Dallas: Christopher and Leann West and Cameron, Cayden, and Carter; Michael and Shanna West and Alex, Laney and Gabriel; Nicole Harper Adams and Layne and Levi; John Harper, III and Caroline, Landon, Addison and Colter; Tammy Denise Cottrell; Jacob and Michaela Cook and Kadence, Jacobi, Layla and Rose; Marie Rogers and Maddison, Macie, and Trevor; Johnathan and Felicia Cook and Johnathan, Harmoni and Harlyn; Mark and Emily Cook and Grace; Sierra and Kris Davis and Enzo; James Reeves; Laura Parada and Logan and Mary; Tony and Fiona Pitsky; Holly and Austin Plappert; Joseph, Chelsea, Kara, Jacob, Evan, Michael and Noah Pitsky; Rose and Alan Meyer and Caleb, Chloe, Colten, Cameron and Caden; David and Ashley Faver and Aden and Amelia; Ariel Burnett; Laura Lennox and David Burch and Leiya, Kade and Kaisley; Emily Cook and Shawn; Kevin Cook and Kyle; and Cheri and Douglas Porter and Katelynn and Kandyn; as well as numerous other relatives and friends.
