Juanita (Neta) June Greiner rejoined the Lord on April 15, 2025 at the age of 90 in Livingston, Texas.

Neta was born on June 11, 1934 in Zion, Illinois but grew up in Delphi, Indiana. When she turned 19, she headed out on her own to the big-city of Lafayette, Indiana and it was in Lafayette that she met her future husband Calvin (Cal) Greiner. Cal and Neta were married for over 65 years and got to travel the country together since Cal worked for Pan-American Airlines. Together they raised their family in: Miami, New York, Los Angeles, Miami, and finally Houston.

While Neta dedicated her life to making a warm and loving home for her family; she was skilled at many crafts including knitting, sewing, needle-stitch, and baking. She even ran her own upholstery business out of the home for many years; restoring various furniture such as couches and chairs. And she was well-known in particular for the knitted blankets that she used to make for her family and friends. Her family will also fondly remember all of the desserts she would make for them during the holidays.

She will be greatly missed and leaves behind her loving family. Neta is survived in death by her husband, Calvin Greiner; her son, Kevin Greiner; her 3 grandchildren, Jonathon Greiner (spouse Katrina), Christopher Greiner, and Rebecca Greiner; and her 2 great-children, Jackson Greiner, and Annabelle Greiner. Resting in peace, she rejoins her daughter, Cathy Jo Greiner, and her daughter-in-law, Sheryl Greiner.

Funeral services will be held Monday, April 21, 2025, at11:00 a.m., at the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas with Bro. Lindell Mitchell officiating. Interment will follow at Peebles Cemetery in Livingston. Visitation will take place on the day of service, from 10:00-11:00 a.m., at the funeral home.
