Funeral services for Judy Ann Teetsel Boyd, 54, of Sour Lake, Texas will be held Saturday, April 3, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. in the Fellowship In The Pines Church located at 1936 FM 2610 in Livingston, Texas with Bro. Roland Coyle and Bro. Vernon Stone officiating. Interment will follow in the Ace Community Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. on Friday, April 2, 2021 in the Cochran Funeral Home in Livingston, Texas.
Judy (JUJU) was a caring wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She left this world praising Jesus's name in her home surrounded by loved ones who will continue to honor her legacy by living their lives to the fullest.
Judy was born on May 18, 1966 and passed away on March 31, 2021 after a very long and hard fight! Judy loved arts and crafts, spending time in the kitchen cooking and making her famous Juju Tea. She was a skilled piano player and loved filling her home with worship music.
Judy is survived by her loving husband of 31 years, James Paul Boyd II., of Sour Lake, Texas; daughter, Tara Herrera and husband, Ray of Sour Lake, Texas; son, Joshua Fowler and his wife, Amber of Denver, North Carolina; son, Paul Boyd and his wife, Dena of Sibley, Louisiana; son, Brandon Boyd of Bossier City, Louisiana; son, Ray Boyd and his wife, Sierrah of Haughton, Louisiana; and son, Wayne Boyd and his wife, Alanna of Gloster, Louisiana; grandchildren, Christian, Grace, Jimmy, Destiny, Sean, Gavin, Devin, Kendall, Aubrey, Karson, Grayson, Skyler and Cooper Joe; fur-grandbabies, Tinker and Harley; sister, Audrey Mock; and brothers, Bob Teetsel and his wife, Robin, and John Teetsel all of Monroe Township, Pennsylvania; as well as several special friends and other family members.
Ms. Boyd was preceded in death by her father, Robert P. Teetsel and her mother, Betty A. Neyhart, brother-in-law, Bill Mock, sister-in-law, Sherry Teetsel and grandchildren, Blakely Boyd and Chase Everett Boyd.
Pallbearers: Wayne Boyd, Paul Boyd, Matthew Shirley, John Edwards, Jr., Jeremy Edward, Ray Herrera, Ray Boyd, and Brandon Boyd.
Junior Pallbearers: Jimmy Boyd, Sean Boyd, Skyler Boyd, Cooper Joe Boyd, and Grayson Boyd.
The Boyd Family wants to acknowledge their gratefulness to the medical staff at Amedisys Hospice Care. We want to thank you for taking such great care of Judy. Your effortless love and support will never be forgotten.
