Julie Ann Gorday age 32 of Goodrich passed away on Sunday November 8, 2009 at her home. Graveside services will be held 11:00 Saturday November 14, 2009 in the Glennwood Cemetery in Groveton with Rev. Pam Howard officiating. Vitiation will be Friday November 13, 2009 from 5:00PM until 10:00PM in the Cochran Funeral Home.

Julie was born August 1, 1977 in Houston to parents Jessie Thomas McCarty and Betty Gail Sanders McCarty. She worked for Wal-Mart as a overnight cashier. Julie loved her family, and spending time with them. She also enjoyed visiting and keeping up with friends and family on MYSPACE.

She is survived by her parents Jessie Thomas and Betty Gail McCarty of Goodrich, sons Matthew Allen Gorday and Joseph Ray Gorday both of Goodrich, brothers James Thomas McCarty of Goodrich, and David Wayne McCarty of Lovelady, sisters Tammy White and husband John of Onalaska, Linda McCarty of Goodrich, and Jennifer Stepp and husband Randy of Trinity, husband Tran White of Livingston. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive her.

Serving as pallbearers will be Theodore Bryant, John White Jr., Matthew Gorday, Joseph Gorday, James McCarty, David McCarty.
