Julius Edmond Dominy, age 81 of Livingston, Texas, passed away on April 12, 2008. He was born November 3, 1926, in Goodrich, Texas, to Julius Dominy and Melvinia Armitage Dominy.
Mr. Dominy was a member of the Leggett Baptist Church. And served as a church deacon for 50 years.
He is predeceased by his wife of 60 years Zeffa Dominy. He is survived by Billie Dominy Street and Douglas son and daughter in law of Pearland, Texas, and Michael Dominy and Angela son and daughter in law of Livingston, Texas. Grandchildren Mike Street, Jake Dominy, and Crissy Dominy, brother Leon Ray Dominy of Siloam Springs, sisters Mary Ruth DeLaney of Livingston, and Annette Lowe of Livingston and brother Tommy Dominy of Livingston. He is also survived by his special friends Foy Buller, Ida Nettles, Frankie Hopson, and Doris Stockton.
Services will be held Tuesday April 15, 2008 at 10:00AM at Cochran Funeral Home in Livingston, Texas, with Bro. Frank Hood and Bro. Lynn Dyke. Burial will be at Peebles Cemetery in Livingston, Texas. Visitation will take place Monday 6:00PM until 8:00PM.
Serving as pallbearers will be Jerry Dominy, Randy Lowe, Gary Lowe, Douglas Street, Jake Dominy, Felder Dubois, Robert Gray, Bobby Lowe.
