Memorial services for Julius Avery "Joe" Wesney, 60, of Bedias, Texas, were held Friday, July 25, 2014, at 2:00 p.m. in the Beacon Bay Baptist Church Livingston, Texas. Interment will be in the South Park Cemetery in Pearland, Texas.
Joe was born September 15, 1953 in Houston, Texas to parents, John George Wesney and Shirley (Farley) Wesney, and passed away on July 21, 2014 in Leon County, Texas. He loved to ride motorcycles and enjoyed his music. He was an active member of Central Baptist Church in Livingston, Texas. Joe instilled his faith in God, along with honor and respect for others, to his sons. His legacy of love will be passed down to his future generations. The true love of his life was his children and grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his father, Jack Wesney; grandparents, Julius and Mary Wesney; and stepdad, Earl Noble Davis Jr.
He is survived by his sons, Jeffrey Wesney and wife Rachel, Jared Wesney, and Jordan Wesney; mother, Shirley Davis; grandchildren, Jackson Wesney, James Wesney, Paige Wesney, and Mia Wesney; brother, Russell Wesney; sister, Candace Ruess; and numerous other relatives and friends.
