Obituary
Funeral services for J.V. Snook, Sr., 91, of Livingston, Texas, will be held Wednesday, December 10, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. in the Cochran Funeral Home in Livingston, Texas with Bro. Orval Barger officiating. Military Honors will be provided by VFW Post #8568 Interment will follow in the Bluff Creek Cemetery in Livingston, Texas. Visitation will be held Tuesday, December 9, 2014 beginning at 5:00p.m. in the Cochran Funeral Home in Livingston, Texas.
Mr. Snook was born February 28, 1923 in Palestine, Texas to parents, Bert Norwood Snook and Frances Theresa (Damon) Snook, and passed away December 8, 2014 in Livingston, Texas. He is preceded in death by his wife, Lucile Snook; parents; son, Jay V. Snook, Jr.; granddaughter, Chelsea Ross; brothers, Eugene Bert Snook, Olan Norwood Snook, James Reese Snook; and sister, Lena Mae Johnson.
He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Tommy Ray and Donna Snook; daughter-in-law, Patricia Snook; grandson, Kevin Snook; granddaughter and husband, Wendy Ross and Mack; grandson and wife, Tommy Snook, Jr. and Monica; grandson and wife, Billy Snook and Laura; great-grandchildren, Cody and Taylor Ross, Allie Botello, Dylan and Ryan Snook, Jenna and William Snook, Logan and wife, Amber, Colton Clary; great-great granddaughter, Elaina Clary; sister, Nanette Daic; brothers, George Snook, Gerald Snook and wife, Clara; sister-in-law, Ann Wiggins; numerous other relatives and friends.
