Funeral services for Karin Marie Jacobsen of Onalaska, Texas, will be held Saturday, March 7, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. in the Trinity Lutheran Church in Livingston, Texas with Pastor Bill Gittner and Pastor Michael Monterastelli officiating. Interment will follow in the Forest Hill Cemetery in Livingston, Texas. Visitation will be held Friday, March 6, 2015 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. in Cochran Funeral Home in Livingston, Texas.

Mrs. Jacobsen was born October 12, 1936 in Norfolk, Nebraska to parents, Robert Fricke Sr. and Marie (Engelbart) Fricke, and passed away March 4, 2015 Houston, Texas. She is preceded in death by her parents; and husband, Robert L. Jacobsen.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Kurt and Debbie Jacobsen of Livingston, Texas; daughter and son-in-law, Amy and Kevin Potter of Onalaska, Texas; son, Eric Jacobsen of Onalaska, Texas; grandchildren, Chris and Melinda Niehaus, Stacey and Jimmy Bricarell, Sara Beth and Jason Hodges, Cory and Kim Heavin, Jesse Heavin, Caleb Heavin, Morris and Rosa Broussard, Michayla Potter, C.J. Potter, Meagan Potter, and Zakk Potter; great grandchildren, Brian Niehaus, Kayla Niehaus, Sully Bricarell, Luke Heavin, Kail Heavin, Kiara Heavin; brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Mary Fricke Jr. of Clear Lake, Texas; sister, Shirley Thames of LaGrange, Texas; sister and brother-in-law, Liz and Tom Viets of Baltimore, Maryland; sister and brother-in-law, Gretchen and Bill Gittner of Charlotte, North Carolina; sister and brother-in law, Mary K. and Carl Bahnmaier of Lawrence, Kansas; and numerous other relatives and friends.
