February 18, 1928 to August 23, 2012
A Memorial Service for Karlyn Mattson Hicks, age 84 of Onalaska, Texas, will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, September 1, 2012, atr Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Onalaska, Texas. Rev. James Frazier will conduct the service. A Reception will immediately follow the service at the Senior Citizen Center in Onalaska, Texas, until 5:00 PM.
Mrs. Hicks was born on February 18, 1928, in Boston Massachusetts, to parents, Carl Walter and Evelyn Lyn Mattson. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Livingston, Texas.
Mrs. Hicks is survived by two daughter, Sharon Wilson of Arlington, Texas, and Cheryl Haywood of Dallas, Texas; son, C.L. Aiken of Pearland, Texas; sister-in-law, Dorothy Mattson of Lufkin, Texas; eight Grandchildren and six Great Grandchildren.
Cochran Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
