Katherine Davenport 52, of Livingston passed away Saturday February 28, 2009. Funeral services will be held 2:00PM Wednesday March 4, 2009 in the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, with Rev. John Taylor and Rev. David Davenport officiating. Burial followed in the Ace Community Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday March 3, 2009 from 5:00PM until 9:00PM in the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel.

Katherine was born October 2, 1956 in Houston, Texas to parents Joe and Geraldine Munson Tullos. She was a member of the Ace Baptist Church.

While on this earth Kathy was a loving grandmother, wonderful mother, exceptional daughter, and a incredible aunt to so many.

Kathy loved the outdoors, fishing, traveling, and was always ready to try something new. She had a natural affinity for nature and loved her various pets over the years especially her Pomeranian, Corky.

Throughout her life of fifty-two years, she was known to bring a smile to the face of those around her. Kathy had a genuine love for others and could hold a conversation with anyone. Her kind nature, and loving spirit drew many people into her life.

Oftentimes she could be found entertaining her children, nieces, nephews and her beloved grandson, Chance. We all reserve a special place in our heart for Kathy because she loved us all unconditionally, was always there to listen, and put others before herself. It was this special demeanor of Kathy' that caused so many people to love her back.

She is survived by her parents Joe and Geraldine Tullos of Liberty, son Brandon Lynn Davenport of Danberry, daughter Shannon Leigh Davenport of Shepherd, grandchildren Chance Braydon Earl Davenport. He is also survived by his brothers Charles Munson and wife Linda of Danberry, Bill Tullos and wife Joann of Laughlin, Nevada, sister Jody Connevey and husband Earle, and her loving pet Corkey. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive her.

Serving as pallbearers are T. J. Tullos, Brandon Davenport, Daniel Connevey, Kevin Tullos, Chris Simmons, and James Caskey.
