Funeral services will be held for Kathleen Janette Holmes, 81, of Livingston, Texas Saturday, June 7, 2025, at 11:00 a.m., at Old Peebles Cemetery in Livingston, Texas with Bro. Albert Murdock officiating. Visitation will take place at the cemetery on the day of service, from 10:00-11:00 a.m.

Kathleen was born June 21, 1943 in Brazoria County, Texas and passed away May 28, 2025 in Livingston, Texas. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gene Holmes; parents, Ewel Edward Goodwin and Caroline Elizabeth Hayland Goodwin; brother, David Goodwin; and mother and father-in-law, Christine and Dub Holmes.

She is survived by her son, Paul Holmes and wife Pam of Livingston, Texas; grandchildren, Lauren Holmes and husband Matthew Shirey, and Alicia Hill and husband David; nephews, Glen Gallup and wife Karina, And Vincent Gallup and partner Bobby Wagner; sister-in-law, Terry Gallup-Crolt and husband Richard; great grandchildren, Bella, Diesel, Nova, Jasper, and Lainey; and great nephews, Ethan and Kevin; as well as numerous other relatives and friends.
