Graveside services for Kathryn Bankes Ermel, 75, of Cypress, Texas, will be held Wednesday, May 27, 2026, at 10:00 a.m., at the Magnolia Cemetery in Onalaska, Texas with Bro. Mike Loftin officiating.
Kathryn was born November 12, 1950, in Houston, Texas and passed away May 20, 2026, in Cypress, Texas. She is preceded in death by her parents, Charles Franklin Bankes and Margaret (Stallings) Bankes; and brother, Thomas Franklin Bankes.
She is survived by her husband, Royce Ermel of Cypress, Texas; son, Charles Paulk of Cypress, Texas; daughter, Michelle Paulk of Cypress, Texas; sister, Nancy Elizabeth Cowery of Humble, Texas; and brother, Michael Edward Bankes of Houston, Texas; along with numerous other relatives and friends.
