Obituary
Kathy Parrish age 70 of Trinity passed away Friday April 9, 2010 at her home. Funeral services will be held Wednesday April 14, 2010 at 11:00AM in the Cochran Funeral Home Onalaska Chapel with Chaplain Ray Hyden officiating. Burial will follow in the Carlisle Cemetery.
Kathy was born December 16, 1939 in Houston the daughter of Steve Lewis Batts Sr. and Francis Pugh Batts. She was a member of the American Legion Auxillary Post #0136 in Carlisle, the relay for life Juvenile Diabetes, and numerous other organizations around the area. Kathy worked for many years at Wal Mart as the OTC Manager, and recently celebrated her 20 year anniversary.
She is survived by her children Tommy Parrish & Melynda Roberts of Trinity, Donna Lynn Whitmire and Paul Barrett of Trinity, Joyce Griffith of Eaton, Ohio, Spencer Parrish Jr and wife Robin of Trinity, Julie Abshier and husband Frank of Conroe, and Mary Baack and husband Chris of Splendora. She is also survived by her grandchildren Sharee Parrish, Airman Cody Whitmire, Brooke Whitmire, Cory Whitmire, Crystal Rother and husband Dusty, Paul Leffler, Daniel Parrish and wife Alisha, Brandon Parrish and wife Mica, Ashley Parrish, James Allen and wife Shelly, Amanda Arant, William Barnett, Jason Reardonand and wife Mandy, Penny Rogers and husband Johnny, Beau Conn, La Nea Jones and husband Bobby, Bambi Harlin, Shelly Wright, Melissa Johnson and husband Wade and Jeffery Baack, and great grandchildren McKenzie, Krislynn, Gage, Chance, Tucker, Kaytyln, Bailey, Brenna, Chelsie, Chase, Abbigail, Mason, Jantzen, Austin, Abby, Cameron, Carleigh, Conner, Cheyanne,
Bryan, Blake, Madison, Kelsey, Madison, Kylie, Kaydance, and one on the way. She is also survived by her siblings, Francis Moody of Leslie, Ar., Patsy Starr of Pinehurst, Edna Rodrigues of Dallas, Steve Lewis Batts Jr of Edna, KS., and Dale Batts of Olney , Tx, she is also survived by her step mother, Vera Bates of Olney, Texas.
Serving as pallbearers will be Jason Reardon, Beau Conn, Jeffrey Baack, Cory Whitmire, Sharee Parrish, Brooke Whitmire, and Paul Leffler. Honorary pallbearer will be Airmen Cody Whitmire.
