Graveside services for Katie Burge, 34, of Livingston, Texas, will be held at 2:00 PM, Sunday, February 23, 2014, at Bold Springs Cemetery in Livingston, Texas with Bro. Pat Hitt officiating. Visitation will begin at 9:00 AM, Wednesday, February 19, 2014, at the family's household.

Katie was born on April 3, 1979 in Beaumont, Texas and passed away on February 16, 2014 in Livingston, Texas. She worked as a phlebotomist during her lifetime. She is preceded in death by her father, James Burge.

She is survived by her daughter, Elizabeth Burge of New Caney, Texas; sons, Phillip "Junior" Murphy of Corrigan, Texas and Angel Mendoza of San Marcus, Texas; parents, Richard and Ida Catching of Livingston, Texas; brother and sister-in-law, Frank and Tiffany Burge of Kirbyville, Texas; brother, Daniel Burge of Kirbyville, Texas; sister, Shamarie Simmons of San Marcus, Texas; brother, Jimmy Burge of Liberty, Texas; step-brother, Rick Catching of Vidor, Texas; step-sister, Carol Richardson of Vidor, Texas; along with numerous other relatives and friends.
