Kay Loy Schrimsher

Kay Loy Schrimsher passed away on June 9, 2026, in Livingston, Texas, just one month shy of her 85th birthday. She was preceded in death by her parents, Floyd W. and Iletta M. Schrimsher.

She is survived by her two children; her brother, Rick Schrimsher; his wife, Lisa; and their children, Madison, Jack, and Grace.

Kay Loy enjoyed a long career in advertising with Polk County Publishing Co. We are deeply grateful to her coworkers at Polk County Publishing Co. for their care, friendship, and support throughout the years. She also shared a lifelong bond with her dear friend Robyn Gillespie, whom she loved deeply and cared for with devotion.
