Obituary

Ken Raye Glover was born on October 25, 1961, in Houston, Texas. He passed away January 28, 2025, resting peacefully at his home.

Ken was a long-time resident of Livingston, Texas. He was preceded in death by his and wife Cindy's three "Rainbow Babies"; both of his parents, A.D. Glover, Jr. and Mattie Marcille Clark Glover; brother, A.D. Glover III; brother-in-law, Pete Weaver; sisters, Glenda Glover, Ann Glover, and Carol Glover Weaver; his father-in-law, Norman Ross; and mother-in-law, Norma Ross.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 40 years Cindy Glover; son, Kasey Ross Glover and wife Shelby; son, A.D. Glover and wife Arely; his precious grandchildren, Magnolia Mae Glover and Alden Davis Glover; sisters, Sharlyn Guthrie and Vickie Weaver; and brother-in-law, Richard Weaver; as well as numerous nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great nephews, family and friends.

Ken was a member of Central Baptist Church of Livingston, where he and his wife Cindy volunteered many years in the Youth Department. Ken enjoyed serving in this ministry, especially when it came to the various local, state and international outreach and mission trips. One of his passions was serving in mission work.

Ken has commuted and worked in Houston most of his life. He attended North Harris County College and BOMA (Building Owners and Managers) Trade School to study and complete each of their air conditioning and building engineer programs. Ken was a Stationary Building Engineer for the Houston Center Complex in downtown Houston for 20 years. Ken was excited to hear that a Chilled Water Plant was being built to provide air conditioning to what is now Minute Maid Park. He has worked for CenTrio Energy providing air conditioning for the Astros and various other high-rise buildings in downtown Houston for 25 years as a Lead Stationary Engineer.

Family was the most important thing to Ken. He enjoyed hunting with his boys and also enjoyed gardening, mowing pasture and taking care of the family farm.

Our deepest appreciation goes to the M.D. Anderson Cancer Center, Altus Hospice Care, Central Baptist Church, CenTrio Energy, Onalaska I.S.D. and many family and friends that prayed for our family through Ken's battle with cancer.

The family is requesting that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to local, state or international missions in his honor.

Honorary Paulbearers: A.D. Glover, Kasey Glover, Cody Weaver, Matthew Guthrie, Cody Reneau, Kyle Holcombe, Anastacio Peralta, and Robert Kubeczka.
