Obituary



Funeral services for Kenneth Earl Hubbard, 76, of Livingston, will be held at 10:00 AM, Friday, June 17, 2011 at the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas with Willis American Legion Post # 618 providing military honors.

He was born August 13, 1934 in Friendwood, Texas to Marvin Earl Hubbard and Marguarite Olive Harklerood Hubbard and passed away on June 14, 2011 in Livingston, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents.

Kenneth spent 21 years in the United Air Force. He was an active member of the American Legion Post #312 for 38 years where he served as the past District Commander and Lead Commander for eleven and a half of those years. He had retired from the Polk County Sherriff' Department where he had served the community as the chief bailiff, then as the constable and many other positions through out the years.

He is survived by Edna Diane Hubbard, wife of Livingston, Texas, Edward ""Butch"" Hubbard, son of Weatherford, Texas, Howard ""Skeeter"" Hubbard, son of Weatherford, Texas, Marvin Eugene Hubbard, son of Weatherford, Texas, Gay L. Robinson, step-daughter of Austin, Texas, step-son, Ricky L. Robinson of Austin, Texas, step-daughter, Carol Denise Whitten of Mineola, Texas, sister, Betty J. Sanders of Missouri City, Texas, sister, Lynda F. Capps of Livinston, Texas, 9 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, many extended family and friends.
