Funeral services for Kenneth Hubert Knebel, 88, of Livingston, Texas, will be held Sunday, October 13, 2019 at 4:30 p.m. in the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas with Robert Murphy officiating. Interment will follow in the Holly Grove Cemetery in Livingston, Texas. Visitation will be held Saturday, October 12, 2019 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. in Cochran Funeral Home in Livingston, Texas.

Mr. Knebel was born in Round Top, Texas, to parents, Willie Knebel and Ella (Weber) Knebel, and passed away October 10, 2019 in Livingston, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Dorothy Abilene Knebel; son, Travis Alan Knebel; grandson, Jarrod Bonnell Knebel; and numerous aunts and uncles. During his life, Kenneth had quite the green thumb! Twice every year he would plant 7 gardens! He loved taking care of his home and plants; especially when he was able to share his vegetables.

He is survived by his son; Walter Knebel and wife, Joanie of Livingston, Texas; grandsons, Brandon Knebel and fiance, Trish, Bradley Knebel, and Stephen Knebel all of Livingston, Texas; sister, Doris Andrew of Broken Bow, Oklahoma; special niece, Winona Topsy Horton; special nephew, Charles Richardson; and special friends, Thelma Banks and Shelly Campbell; along with numerous nieces, nephews other relatives and close friends.
