Kenneth John Nielsen, age 90 of Coldspring, Texas, passed away on April 11, 2013, at his home in Coldspring. Kenneth was born on November 4, 1922, in Iowa, to father, Nick Cornelius Nielsen.

Kenneth is survived by his son, Kenneth Nielsen II, of Coldspring, Texas; son and daughter-in-law, Keith Nielsen and Cindy, of Shepherd, Texas; son and daughter-in-law, Alan Nielsen and Belinda, of Coldspring, Texas; daughter and son-in-law, Mary and Sammy Shaw, of Porter, Texas; step-son, Ricky Carter, of Houston, Texas; numerous other relatives and friends.

A graveside service for Kenneth John Nielsen will be held Monday, April 15, 2013, at 11:00 AM, at Oakwood Cemetery in Coldspring, Texas. Rev. Harold Isaacs will be officiating the service.
