Obituary
Funeral Services for Kent Atkinson, age 65, of Livingston, will be held Tuesday, March 29, 2011 at 11:00 AM in the First Baptist Church of Livingston. Interment will follow in the Bluff Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be held in the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, March 28, 2011 from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM.
He was born January 31, 1946 in Lufkin, Texas to Rex William Atkinson and Margaret Hazel Butler Atkinson and passed away March 25, 2011 in Houston, Texas. He preceded in death by his parents.
Kent is survived by his lovely wife, Sheila Atkinson of Livingston, daughter, Sandra Sandison of Houston, daughter, Leslie Atkinson of Houston, brother in law, John Mullins, III of Houston, nephews, John Mullins, IV and Justin Mullins, both of New Braunfels, brother in law, Claude Mullins of Lufkin, sister in law, Pam Mullins of Lufkin, nieces, Kate Mullins and Anna Mullins, both of Lufkin. Numerous cousins and close friends also survive.
