IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Kerry Jerome
Cooper
January 15, 1964 – September 30, 2023
In loving memory of Kerry Jerome Cooper, a resident of Seven Oaks, Polk County, Texas, who left his earthly body on Saturday, September 30, 2023.
Kerry was born on January 15, 1964 in Houston, Texas, to Billy Ray Cooper and Sylvia Lois Johnson.
He was blessed to marry his high school sweetheart, and together they welcomed two daughters, Jayme and Rachel; and a son named Ray.
Kerry had a remarkable gift of making connections with people. His infectious smile and warm spirit made everyone he met feel welcome and loved. He had a way of reaching others on a deep level, leaving a lasting impression.
Throughout his life, Kerry's unwavering faith was the foundation of his being. His love for God shone brightly, shaping his character and guiding his actions. His devotion to his faith was evident in the kindness, compassion, and respect he showed to others. Kerry lived his life as a beautiful reflection of God's love.
Now, let's not forget one of Kerry's unique traits - his favorite saying, "John Brown," instead of resorting to negative language. He effortlessly brought smiles and laughter to those around him with this phrase. His ability to find humor, even in challenging times, was a true gift. It showcased his lighthearted nature and positive outlook on life.
Kerry is survived by his children Jayme, Rachel, and Ray, who will continue his legacy. He also leaves behind his beloved granddaughter, Remington Elijah Bowen.
His brother, Horace Cooper, and a large extended family of cousins and friends also mourn his loss.
As we bid farewell to Kerry, let us remember the profound impact he had on our lives. He was not just a friend or loved one, but a beacon of light in a sometimes dark world. Let us carry his infectious smile with us and share it with others, just as he did. Let us embrace his tireless work ethic, striving to make a difference in our own lives and in the lives of those around us. And above all, let us hold onto his unwavering faith, allowing it to guide us through life's trials and reminding us to love wholehearted.
May Kerry's memory live on forever in our hearts, and may his legacy inspire us to be kinder, work harder, and love unconditionally.
