Funeral services for Kimberly Sue Buchanan, 65, of Livingston, Texas, will be held Tuesday, December 3, 2024 at 2:00 p.m., at the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas with Pastor Frank Hart officiating. Interment will be follow in the Magnolia Cemetery in Onalaska, Texas. Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m. till service time.

Kimberly Sue Buchanan was born March 7, 1959 in Evansville, Indiana to parents Richard Lee Thompson and Maryanne (Conger) Thompson and passed away November 28, 2024 in Katy, Texas.  She was a huge Astros fan along with her love of roosters, cats, dragonflies, butterflies and Jesus.  She is preceded in death by her parents.

Kimberly is survived by her husband, Bill Buchanan of Katy, Texas; children, Jennifer Sanders, Mitchell Sanders and Laura, Zachary Sanders and Mandy, Lori Wright and Douglas, Sarah Kurten and Eric, Travis Buchanan and fiance, Diamond Garcia; grandchildren, Noah and Caleb Sanders, Blake Sanders, Ashley Wright, Taylor Wright, Alexis Wright, Christian Buchanan, Easton Murphy, Granger Duke, Randen Kurten, Kaden Kurten and Karsen Kurten; brother and sister-in-law, Brack Thompson and Gretle, and brother, Brian Thompson; along with numerous other relatives and friends.

Mrs. Buchanan will be escorted to her grave by pallbearers Michael Sanders, Zachary Sanders, Brian Thompson, Eric Kurten Travis Buchanan and Christian Buchanan.
