Funeral services for Kristi Lynn Akins, 30, of Livingston, Texas, will be held Tuesday, July 26, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. in the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas with Bro. Steve Waldrep officiating. Visitation will be held Tuesday, July 26, 2016 from 9:00 a.m., until the service begins, in the Cochran Funeral Home in Livingston, Texas.

Kristi was born August 20, 1985 in Amarillo, Texas, to parents, Thomas Richard Akins and Terisa Pennington, and passed away July 19, 2016 in Camila, Texas.

She is survived by her father, Thomas Akins and wife Kathy of Livingston, Texas; mother, Terisa Pennington of Livingston, Texas; sister, Kimberly Akins of Gordon, Texas; brother, Thomas Akins Jr. of Denver, Colorado; fiancé, Jay Tyler of Shepherd, Texas; step grandfather, James Chaney Jr. of Marion, Illinois; adopted grandparents, Robert and Carol Upton of Livingston, Texas; along with numerous other relatives and friends.
