Funeral services for LaHoma Holley, age 69 of Livingston, TX, will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, February 25, 2012 at Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston. Rev. Dicky Boddie will conduct the service. Interment will follow the chapel service at Peebles Cemetery. Pallbearers are Buck Johnson, Chuck Blum, George Giacona, Michael Giacona, Mike Dominy and Kelley Wars. Honorary pallbearers are Jimmy McDonald and Kenneth Dillon.
LaHoma was born on July 17, 1942, in Houston, TX, to parents Homer Hightower and Essie Cordell McBryde Hightower. She passed away in Houston on February 20, 2012.
LaHoma was a member of Providence First Baptist Church. She worked at Jackson Industries, Polk County Title Co. and Polk County Abstract. LaHoma is preceded in death by her parents, Homer and Essie Hightower and a sister, Frankie Keeton. She is survived by her husband, C. ""Bill"" Holley of Livingston; six sons and three daughters-in-law, Marc and Mary Holley of Pearland, Rex Holley and Derek Holley of Livingston, Troy and Kay Holley of Pearland, Scott Holley of Livingston and Lance and Charolette Holley of Webster; sister and brother-in-law, Darline and Van Conger of Alto; twelve grandchildren, Marc Holley, Troy Holley, Megan Vaughn, Ryan Holley, Aaron Holley, Hayne Holley, Harrison Holley, Hunter Holley, Sterling Holley, Joshua Holley, Allison Holley and Ashley Holley; five great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
