LuRay Nash 85 formally of Livingston passed away Friday March 27, 2009 in Houston. A graveside service was held in her honor Sunday March 29, 2009 in the Forest Hills Cemetery.
LuRay was born July 28, 1923 in Rusk, to parents Jasper J. and Lutie McDowell Pryor. She is preceded in death by her parents and husband Vernon Nash.
She is survived by her son Sonny Nash of Livingston, daughters Martha Goettee of Houston and Mary Anne Harmer of Houston, grandchildren Kelly Nash, Leslie Shomaker, Jennifer Fern, Nancy Sawyer, Becky DeLacruz, Greg Goettee, Gary Paul Goettee, Linda Goettee, Claire Ward and John Harmer IV. She is also survived by her great grandchildren Laiken, Ryan, Evan, Brandon, Blake, Brad, Bethany, Garrett, and Haley.
