Funeral services for Larry Abbey, 73, of Houston, Texas, will be held Friday, June 21, 2024, at11:00 a.m., at the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas with Debbie Kleinman officiating. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m., prior to the service at the Cochran Funeral Home in Livingston, Texas.  Interment will follow at the Alabama-Coushatta Reservation Cemetery

Larry Abbey was born November 30, 1950 in Livingston, Texas to parents, Ross Abbey, Sr. and Ettie Mae Thompson and passed away June 15, 2024 in Houston, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Stewart Abbey; and sisters, Kathy Butler and Patsy Flores.

He is survived by his wife, Diana Thompson of Houston, Texas; daughters and sons-in-law, Sherry Thompson and Tony, Shelley Thompson and Travis, all of Houston, Texas; sons. Michael Abbey and Jeffrey Abbey, also of Houston, Texas; grandsons, Philip Boswell and Adrian Avila; granddaughters, Victoria Boswell and Athena Boswell; grandsons, Aiden Sylestine and Alexander Sylestine; grand-pup, Clutch Avila; sister and brother-in-law, Violene Beene and Billy; brother and sister-in-law, Ross Abbey and Deanna; sister and brother-in-law, Susan Easley and Quana, all of Livingston, Texas; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
