Audrey Laureen Yust, born August 27, 1942 in St. Louis, Michigan, died June 21, 2021 at home in Goodrich at the age of 78.

She is survived by her sister, Margaret Gittrich (Larry); daughter, Karen-Marie Yust (Walter Smailus); son, Karl Yust, Jr. (Teresa); son, Scott Yust; daughter, Audrey Stevenson (Kim); daughter, Lauri Zagzebski (Walter); and grandchildren Amber Yust (Ben Smith), Paula Yust (Jason Belsky), and Michael Yust.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Karl, with whom she had celebrated 60 years of marriage in March; her parents, C. Preston and Lavonne Elder; her sister, Kay Frahm;  and her brother, Ronald Elder.

Laureen was an active member of Central Baptist Church in Livingston. She loved quilting, gardening, birdwatching, RVing, and word search puzzles. She worked for many years as a nursery and preschool teacher.

Plans for a joint memorial service for Laureen and Karl later this summer are pending.
