Funeral services for Laurence "Andy" Anderson, 81, of Livingston, Texas, will be held Monday, June 13, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. in the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas with Bro. Harold Isaacs officiating. Interment will be in the Houston National Cemetery in Houston, Texas.

Mr. Anderson was born June 5, 1935 in Shreveport, Louisiana to parents, Charles H. Anderson and Mary (Shackleford) Anderson, and passed away June 8, 2016 in Livingston, Texas. Andy proudly served his country in the United States Military, both Navy and Army. He was a long term Master Mason and Member of the Trinity Lodge #14 in Livingston, Texas. He was known locally as the friendly yard and barrel man. Andy was a wonderful father, friend, and neighbor and will be dearly missed.

He is survived by his brothers, Pete Anderson and Lonzo Anderson; sister-in-law, Joyce Anderson; daughter, Martha Murray; and grandchildren, Michael and Christina; along with numerous other relatives and friends.
