Obituary
Viewing for Lavon Dale Collins, 75, of Onalaska, Texas, will be held Saturday, April 16, 2016 from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. in the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Onalaska, Texas.
Mr. Collins was born on January 1, 1941 in Shaw, Mississippi to parents, Onnie Collins and Vallie (Hamilton) Collins and passed away on April 14, 2016 in Onalaska, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife, Connie Collins of Onalaska, Texas; daughters, Pamela Collins of Conroe, Texas and Paula Collins of Orlando, Florida; step-son, Kenneth Hatfield and Tara of Onalaska, Texas; granddaughters, Amanda Akopdganov and Mike of Dallas, Texas, Jordan Collins of Orlando, Florida, and Kayla Hatfield of Onalaska, Texas; grandson, Hunter Hatfield of Onalaska, Texas; sisters, Maggie Myers and Leon of Philadelphia, Mississippi, and Laverne Rebolj of Starkville, Mississippi; his beloved pet, Daisy Mae who was by his side until the end; along with numerous other relatives and friends. A special thanks to all of the family and friends which helped during our time of need in addition to Gentiva Hospice.
