Funeral services for Lawrence ""Tex"" Battise age 75 of Livingston will be held Thursday July 8, 2010 at 10:00 AM at the Indian Village Assembly Of God Church on the Reservation with Rev. David Busby officiating and interment to follow in the Alabama-Coushatta Indian Reservation Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Ray Battise, Dwayne Battise, John Battise, Bruce Battise, Gervin Polite, Cedric Polite and Jacob Robinson. Honorary Pallbearer will be Liza Johnson.

He was born May 23, 1935 in Polk County, Texas the son of Tom & Hazel Pierre Battise and passed away July 5, 2010 in Woodville, Texas.
