Funeral services for Leah Pace, 95, of Chester, Texas will be held Saturday, November 15, 2025, at 3:00 p.m., at the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas. Reverend Norman Turner of Pine Grove Church of Christ will officiate.  Interment will follow at the Holly Grove Cemetery in Segno, Texas. Visitation will be held Saturday, November 15, 2025, from 2:00 – 3:00 p.m., in the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel.

Mrs. Pace was born October 10, 1930, in Livingston, Texas and passed away November 10, 2025, in Woodville, Texas. She is preceded in death by her parents, Troy Ernest McMillan and Esther (Richardson) McMillan; husband, Myers Pace; brothers, Frank McMillan, Melvin McMillan, and Clayton McMillan; and stepdaughter, Judy Pace.

For several years, she and Myers ran a small grocery store in Livingston.  They "retired" and moved to their farm Chester in the 1981. There they kept busy with the cattle as well as a little hunting and fishing.  They especially enjoyed visits by their grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. She enjoyed playing 42 and for many years she and a group of her friends formed a roaming 42 club. She was active in her church, and over the years she developed many close, loving friendships in the area.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Ron Grimes and Linda; grandson and fiancé, John Grimes and Catherine Lococo; granddaughter, Emily Barber; grandson, Fred Henry; granddaughter, Amy Thornton; great grandchildren; and sister-in-law, Zelma McMillan; along with numerous other relatives and friends.
