He was preceded in death by his parents, Hilario Hernandez and Consuelo Ramirez; and siblings, Theodora “Dora” Diaz, Hilario “Larry” Hernandez Jr., Rudolpho “Rudy” Hernandez, Maria Esperanza Carbajal, and Patricia Garcia.

Leandro is survived by his wife, Carol Hernandez of Livingston, Texas; daughters, Lorilee Leota (Tausaafia) of Big Spring, Texas and Mary Hernandez (Chris) of Austin, Texas; son, Junior Wilson (Josie) of Livingston, Texas; grandchildren, Soleil Moon Garcia, Meliah Gonzalez (Ruben), Kalianah Escareno (Martin), and one on the way; great grandchildren, Edward Gonzalez, Ezekeil Gonzalez, and 2 on the way; sisters, Consuelo “Connie” Loredo (Nicasio) of Kendleton, Texas and Antonia Hernandez of Needville, Texas; and brothers, Ernest Hernandez (Betty) of Livingston, Texas, Lupe Hernandez (Yolanda) of Louise, Texas, and Roy Hernandez of Bay City, Texas; along with numerous other relatives and friends.
