Funeral services for Leandro Flores Torres, 1943, of Livingston, Texas, will be held Monday, October 17, 2022 at 12:00 p.m. at the ST. Joseph Catholic Church in Livingston, Texas with Father Anderson officiating. Interment will follow at the Forest Hill Cemetery in Livingston, Texas. Visitation will be held Sunday, October 16, 2022, from 6:00 -9:00 p.m., in the Cochran Funeral Home and a Rosary will also be held at 7:oop.m.

Leandro Flores Torres was born October 1, 1943, in Lamesa, Texas, to parents, Jose Torres and Isabel Flores, brothers Oscar Torres and Ramiro Torrez; sister, Maria Odilia Torres;  and passed away on October 6, 2022 in Houston, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents.

Leandro was a well known member of the Livingston community, where he attended St. Joseph Catholic Church and was also a member of The Knights of Columbus. He worked for Cedar Grove ISD and was loved by all the students and staff.

Mr. Torres is survived by his loving wife, Virginia Torres of Livingston, Texas; sons, Carlos Torres and wife of Wisconsin, and Leandro Jr. of Livingston, Texas; daughter, Anna Maria Salas and husband Frank of Cleveland, Texas; son, Damian Torres and fiancé Nikki of Livingston, Texas; granddaughter, Teah; grandsons Taylor and Andres; granddaughters, Selena, Savanah, and Christine; sister, Gloria Ortiz and husband Robert Sr. of Wisconsin; brothers, Bento Torres and Guadalupe Torres and wife Nora, both of Crystal City, Texas; along with a host of other relatives and friends.

Pallbearers: Oscar Torres, Adrian Torres, Frank Salas, Andres Salas, Robert Casas, and Damian Torres.
