IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Leann
Steimle-Eddings
June 4, 1975 – June 20, 2023
Services celebrating the life of LeAnn Steimle-Eddings, 48, of Livingston, Texas, will be held Thursday, June 29, 2023, at 10:00 a.m., at the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas with Bro. Mike Loftin officiating. Visitation will be held Wednesday, June 28, 2023, from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m., at the Cochran Funeral Home, in Livingston, Texas.
LeAnn was born in Houston, Texas on June 4, 1975 and passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, June 20, 2023.
She leaves her parents, George and Lela Steimle; her sister, Michelle Lewis (brother-in-law, Rick Lewis and niece, Myra Lewis); two daughters, Lauren Gaddis (son-in-law, Justin Gaddis) and Taylor Somers (son-in-law, Andrew Somers); grandchildren, Caden Gaddis, Trace Somers, Greyson Gaddis, and Trent Somers; and close cousins, Charlie Willing, Dana Friga-Oden, Vicki Oden-Friga, and Sean Sebren.
LeAnn was a registered nurse and during school was a member of the Alpha Lambda Xi chapter of Phi Theta Kappa Sorority where she served as the Treasurer Secretary and graduated with honors. After working as a nurse in the greater Houston area, LeAnn moved to her hometown of Livingston, Texas, and worked at several small businesses, ending at Lowe's, where she became the Front End Supervisor. Everywhere that LeAnn worked she showed the same love, dedication, and compassion to her co-workers as she did to her family. In many ways, her family grew through many of the bonds and relationships she formed with so many of her co-workers from Lowe's. She truly loved them and after her passing their love for LeAnn was poured out to her family.
LeAnn was an avid reader with a special passion for the genres of mystery, horror, and thriller stories and especially books written by Stephen King, Nora Roberts, and John Grisham. She enjoyed going to concerts and going to the Houston Rodeo with her daughters. At home, she loved doing crafts and baking sweets, and her cheesecake was a specialty, desired by everyone at the table. Some of her favorite movies were A Walk to Remember and City of Angels and she liked to watch crime dramas. Spending time with loved ones is what LeAnn cherished the most.
She was preceded by Alfred Ferguson and Helen Steddum on her mother's side and George and Margaret Steimle on her father's side whom she will be laid to rest next to at Forest Hill Cemetery in Livingston, Texas.
