Obituary

Funeral services for Lee Roy Denham, 91, of Livingston, Texas will be held on Tuesday, August 16, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. in the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas with Rev. Steve Woody and Rev. Roger Clayton officiating. Military Honors will be provided by VFW Post #8568. Masonic Honors will be provided by the Trinity Lodge #14 AF & AM. Interment will follow in the Forest Hill Cemetery in Livingston, Texas. Visitation will be held at the Cochran Funeral Home in Livingston, Texas on Monday, August 15, 2016 be held from 5:00 -8:00 p.m.

Mr. Denham was born on September 15, 1924 in Hazel, Kentucky to parents, Vorice Denham and Carrie (Scruggs) Denham, and passed away August 12, 2016 in Livingston, Texas. During his life, he proudly served his country in the United States Air Force during WWII. He was in the 8th Airborne on a 9 man B-24 bomber. Lee was a tail gunner and a member of the Flying 8-Ball Squadron. He was a long time member of the VFW Post #8568 Honor Guard and a member of the Trinity Lodge #14 AF & AM. Lee was also an active member of the First United Methodist Church and the Methodist Men's Breakfast Club. He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Robert Denham; and son, James Teske.

He is survived by his wife, Elaine Denham of Livingston, Texas; daughter, Diane Denham of Tulsa, Oklahoma; daughter and son-in-law, Laura and Jay White of Santa Fe, Texas; brother-in-law and wife, Ron and Eileen Ramaker of Sarasota, Florida; sister-in-law, Karolyn Denham of Houston, Texas; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Vicki and Buddy Dyer of Hitchcock, Texas; grandsons, Brian White of League City, Texas, Scott White of Dickinson, Texas; David White and wife, Lauren of Alvin, Texas; Dustin Teske of Austin, Texas; granddaughter, Chelsea Teske of Austin, Texas; great-grandson, Kyler White of Alvin, Texas; great-granddaughter, Harper White of League City, Texas; nephew, Tommy Denham of Houston, Texas; niece-in-law and husband, Jennifer and Chris Matlage of Santa Fe, Texas; his dog, Peaches; cat, Meow Meow; along with numerous other relatives and friends.
